Sugarbowl Easter Card

Here is a card I've made for the Sugarbowl blog. The challenge was to make something for spring or easter. This is an easter card with fun and bright colors, so a little bit of spring in there too:)

The stamp is of course from Sugar nellie, and I have painted with my distress ink refills. I've used scraps of paper from my stuff, letter stickers to write "Happy easter" and some Prima flowers with half pearls and a pink button.

Easter break doesn't really start until Wednesday here, but since my fiancè works in school, he has the whole week off. And that's so great since our daughter looves spending time with her daddy, and she get's to see him all day all week. Today we're going to do like the girl on the card, go feed some birds - not chicks though, but ducks. They live by a lake here, and they're so used to getting fed that they don't actually leave south for the winter anymore. It's fun to feed them, they're always stepping on our feet trying to get as much food as possible before someone else does.
